  1. Lots of useful information. Thank you all very much for taking the time to respond. It's really helpful. It'll likely be just me (the wife wants me to take a solo trip - which is code for "I don't want to go"). Going solo gives me a lot of flexibility for lodging/location/attractions. Probably looking at mid-to-late September. Or maybe the last homestand against the Jays in early October.
  2. Thanks for the feedback so far. Ideally, I'd be staying within walking distance to the park. And yeah - I already plan on avoiding NYY/BOS games. I've also been looking into the ballpark tour option that I found on the O's website. So xe I've never been, I've been kicking the idea around of "paying up" for that experience. Whether it's worth it or not, I don't know. But it sounds fun.
  3. It's been a while since I've posted in this amazing forum. I've been an Orioles fan since the late 70s (according to my dad). And due to logistics (lived in Arizona for the past 20+ years; NY and MI before that), I've never been to Baltimore. Let alone an Orioles home game. I've recently moved to central Florida and am looking to make a road trip to catch an Orioles game (or two or three). Does anyone have recommendations for where to stay/things to do/places to go? I plan on driving up and sp nding at least a day or two. I don't have a game or series in mind. But I'd like to head up there before the end of the season (at this rate, it could be October) Thanks in advance for any info. I truly appreciate it.
