That's fair.
It was an attack on the idea of the good old days somehow being superior.
They weren't. Discrimination wasn't right. Throwing at people isn't right. We are better served with today's game.
Hopefully the last vestiges of the mentality that leads people to throw at others are on their way out. I think it's a good sign the O's didn't retaliate.
The idea should be to improve the team.
You shouldn't be scared of also improving another team.
Worry about yourself.
If they improve themselves against everyone other than one other playoff team I'm OK with that.
COOL! You can break someone's hand! That will show everyone how tough you are! Maybe you can even end a career.
Pfft. We're adults, we should act like it.
By old school baseball the way it was meant to be played do you mean whites only?
Sure it does.
It helps them in the regular season. Do you think they should go into the playoffs only thinking about the Orioles? What if the O's, I don't know, get swept by the WC team in the first round? As ridiculous as that sounds.
I really wish fans would stop advocating for, the applauding, this sort of behavior.
If it becomes known that fans think it's a stupid, dangerous practice, maybe it will help kill it off.
