And? Is it easier to score runs off a starter facing a lineup for the third time or a relief pitcher? I might agree with you on the later point if they were playing a home and home series. There might be a small advantage in the third of fourth game but it's probably going to be marginal and might not be more than the advantage you get facing a starter for a third time in those games.

They are going to keep throwing bodies at the problem. I've yet to hear of an active pitcher that's going to change their approach. The ones I heard comment on it seem fine with the risk.
