  1. I think he's going to be a bit below average on offense and defense at first and will rest in that zone between replacement level and league average.
  2. Make sure to let your son know the benefits of a plus membership.
  3. Big shock but she isn't being exactly honest there.
  4. He had a cannon. Not anymore.
  5. At least the ones that get caught don't.
  6. Looks like an Oriole game with all the empty seats.
  7. It was, many times. No team would do it Of course we would have.
  8. The Pop selection is the exact thing I've been suggesting the Orioles do in the draft for years. Hope he makes t.
  9. Right, regularly, since he has so much dead time during the season. ? He probably gets out to 50 or more games a year..oh wait, I'm guessing it's more like five. Buck doesn't call out his guys. He's more willing to call out a Mountcastle or a Kim. As for life lessons, care to give me some examples of when he did it other high draft picks? Where was Manny's life lesson? A good time might have been when he threw the bat.
  10. And I'm sure Buck had lots of heart to heart talks with the kid in his first spring training. ?
  11. The question has never been was Buck wrong to criticize Mountcastle, it was if he was wrong to do it publicly.
  12. So Mountcastle was feeling up when he was demoted to minor league camp? Barnaby isn't wrong, his criticism of Mountcastle was as sharp as that of any player this year which is remarkable considering how critique worthy the play has been. Even stuff like shoddy defense and not running balls out don't warrant comment.
  13. The wording of the tweet certainly indicated he'd signed for slot.
  14. I'd rather Angelos keep it then reinforce the precedent that if you are the last one to sign the O's will give you all they have left in their pool!
  15. No, they didn't have a second round pick and they were afraid their 3rd round talent would be gone by the third so they picked him in the first and overpaid him for no apparent reason.
  16. Do you think he would have gone back to school if the O's offered him #54 slot ( $1,287,800)?
  17. Well that was a clutch HBP. And the error, very clutch. Will this organization ever learn not to overly weight a small sample size? Does anyone think he would have gone back to school? Anyone? Bueller?
