I don't think so. From what I understand Cano will make nothing and the team will get refunded his salary. I don't think the team should ever be in a situation where it would be in their best interest to have a player fail a drug test. BTW anyone else think it is odd that this comes out just days after he breaks his hand and is going to miss a lot of time anyway?

It isn't that hard to find guys that can hit but not field. I don't see how he's worth a spot on the 40 when we already have a backlog of this style of player.
