I agree, this season was the most enjoyable I've ever had as a Orioles fan, and the near future looks very bright.

Too much risk for the player, the team, and the team's reputation. Maybe he can't do more damage, but who can say for certain. And when he pitches, it will be in a high leverage postseason game, and he'll be rusty. It's also bad for the Orioles to risk, or perceive to risk, the future of the best Closer in MLB. We're the darlings of baseball, we're the good guys -- let's not ruin that.

What role do you see Wells playing for the remainder of the season? He was arguably our best pitcher thru June, before getting fatigued and losing confidence. Is he ready to come back?

Wouldn't mind seeing him get a spot start at some point. Give some of our SP's an extra day off.
