  1. He says that now .. he didn’t say that then. Bradish may still likely need TJ surgery at some point imho .
  2. Sorry .. I just looked at the case study link you cited ..
  3. We need another bold nonAngelos move.. Sign Snell or Montgomery, Mr Rubinstein and we will love you!!!
  4. ADAM FRAZIER? Adam was responsible for many clutch exciting moments of those 101 wins!!. The “Shohei Who? “ hr, the MFY HR off the foulpole at Yankee Stadium, Judge falling on his face, and of course the last series Rays clutch double off Fairbanks in the ninth which was a great moment and sounded like the Delmon moment !! .. show me the Bryan Baker highlight reel? You can keep your fWAR.. give me moments like these!
  5. Given my natural pessimism.. my immediate thought was Bradish -Tommy John, Means will continue rehabbing one injury or another all 2024, Gunnar will not be ready opening day and it will take him a month of not hitting and games playing to get up to speed and be who we need him to be, that Basallo will be set back this year. Other than that it was a good first day! Lol
  6. This is a single case study of a nonMLB high school pitcher.. the case also had no long term results mentioned.. did he ultimately fail conservative management?. I think the stress on an arm in the big leagues is vastly more intense. Which is why I believe PRP injections and conservative management usually don’t work.
  7. Dear Peter, Thanks for the payday that never ends. Chris Davis PS… John … the new guys will still honor this right?
  8. Revenge of the nerds belies that!!! And as a proud nerd, I do fine!!! Lol
  9. I prefer a WS championship , all else blows lol
  10. It is a spectrum .. if 95 and out in wild card game vs 95 and run the table as wild card and win WS. i would agree with the argument more with the first and I couldn’t care less who sits in AAA if the second occurs
  11. So is the purpose of Fangraphs “predictions” to get correct who actually wins the most or championships? And do they have a track record of being correct? it seems mainly they say well the actual winners didn’t do what they should have done but no our model is wonderful like say betting on horses.. it is interesting to know their stride rate, speed down short and long distances, what they had for breakfast… etc .. but the value of predictive rags is do they get who wins right any more than Joe Q blind luck picks. Put another way.. if i put big money on Fangraph predictions, what would be my chances?
  12. This is what happens every offseason since Angelos is in charge. No big signing, no big trades, zip. And every offseason there are those who say .. oh its only January.. wait and see. They are always wrong. Not that you cannot win without big additions, obviously we have. But if the expectation is this team under Angelos will ever be anything but the 30th team in making deals or big signings, well that is just not ever going to happen. My prediction? An addition of a lower tier starter.. a Lorenzen say .. and a lottery ticket type trade or signing of a reliever like the Cao, Lopez strategy. Cease, Burnes, Montgomery etc ? Please lol
  13. Excellent!! Could not agree more!! I was a huge fan of Perez signing on and just another example of Elias method and process!!
