91 today. After I play, I like to look up to see what O's could have been used. (Spoiler) I discovered that Paul Bair played 4 games at SS for NYY in 1978 for a total of 4.2 innings. They also played him 5 games at 2B and 3 at 3B that year. Have to store that in my aged memory banks somewhere.
Found this book at the library that may help you keep your streak intact:

Also found a video about it on YouTube:
If Billy Eppler were not on the Ineligible List for 2024 and was hired as an advisor, he might suggest Holliday start on OD, (surprise! surprise!) have a phantom injury the next day, place him on the IL, let him rest a few days, then rehab at Norfolk for 20 days to get in 2B/SS work and 80+PAs and rejoin the club when the rehab is over. After that suggestion, Eppler would find himself looking for an advisor on how to get another gig as an advisor.
They only had $5.8 million last year and signed 15 players after the initial signing day. I am supposing they will be augmenting the position players with a bunch of "older" pitchers at the $25,000+ level and reserving half a million for a surprise (to us) guy.
The two threads can be summarized as such (w/ apologies to Dr. Seuss):
Good Cease, Cy Cease, Meh Cease, Bye Cease.
FIP Cease, my Cease, WHIP Cease, why Cease?
This Cease has eight million in pay.
This Cease has a two-year stay.
Say! Cease has a lot of ways to K.
The total ($8.58M) for the first three O's picks w/ 2023 slots is accurate and about $240,000 more than the 3rd overall pick was worth. The total pool in 2023 values would be $12.45M and would have ranked 9th in total pool in 2023. Also gives them over $600,000 in space for overages. For splashes, I hope they go into full cannonball mode.

When will an Eras Players Committee right a wrong and elect Grich?
