Mullins, Santander, Hays, and Means could be part of the next good team, too, but who knows if Hays will ever stay in the lineup and whether the other three (plus Mancini) will stay here.

I sure hope Mayo and Baumler work out. We reached bigly with the 2nd overall pick so we could target kids in rounds 4 and 5. So dumb. Add to that the heart thing, which is no one's fault, and I hope he recovers fully, but it's just more insult to injury. He better start playing ball soon because the franchise can not afford to get nothing from a pick that high.

For the organization, this year is all about development in the minors. I really like what I'm seeing in all levels up to Bowie. Norfolk, on the other hand, stinks as much as the Orioles. There isn't much there. Right now, we're just shuffling deck chairs and seeing who might get traded (eg Means) and who might have success out of nowhere (eg Means).

For a 15, 75, and another good prospect? Yeah. Need one of the top 100 guys to be a pitcher. The years of control are very valuable. We suck something awful and I'm just not convinced he's going to keep this up.

Saw him in Frederick a few times. The stuff was insane but the control was bad. If he's able to command everything, with the way GrayRod is pitching, that would be some 1-2-3 with Means.

Sounds like it. I am willing to let this mess go through this year since covid really screwed everything up. However, I'm done watching the junk rentals at this point. They need to get AR, and whomever else can help, in Baltimore in 2022. I hope that's Gunnar and GrayRod or something like that. And they need to add at least one real FA. This should be a .500 team next year.
