  1. Urias was just helping to ice Josh Hader by booting the ball.
  2. Owings has a career OPS+ of 73. What computer program would say he was good, a golf simulator?
  3. Owings and McKenna had no shot, but you would have hoped Mateo could have hit a dribbler and beaten it out.
  4. DJ Stewart wasn't hitting those pitches, let's be real.
  5. We knew 7-9 through the order was going to be a wasteland. They'll have the right guys against Hader if they can hold Milwaukee in the 9th.
  6. They burned Odor by announcing them, then substituting Mateo.
  7. Thin bench is a problem, at least they'll have 1-2-3 for the ninth inning if they can't get it done here.
  8. Pretty nice Lorenzo's Oil reference tonight. Bryan Baker was "Lorenzo's foil" indeed.
  9. The O's have scored in five different innings this year.
  10. That's on Perez, he made a bad pitch.
  11. Feels like Boxberger has never given up a run to the Orioles, maybe not even a hit. Even when the Orioles had a good offense they were helpless against him.
  12. Good evening, everyone. How is Nestor Cortes, Jr. still good?
  13. I knew about Sulser, Scott, and Bleier, but Shawn Armstrong is on the Marlins too? LOL. Anyway, he pitched a clean inning with a strikeout.
  14. If they add Watkins or Ellis I would imagine that Kremer is going to the IL, so there's another spot.
  15. Is this last anyone has heard? It's been a week, shouldn't we know if there's been a setback or if there's a timeline to get him into game action?
  16. Is completely expected, because it's the title of the thread?
  17. Just like it would have been foolish to overreact to sweeping Boston to go 3-0 last year, it would be equally foolish to overreact to one series this year. Mountcastle is seeing the ball well. Santander is seeing the ball well. Mancini, Mullins and Hays got on base a couple of times each today. Urias and Mateo look like they can contribute. Catcher and Odor/Gutierrez are empty holes in the lineup and that situation will hopefully resolve itself sooner rather than later.
  18. They just took the lead in Chicago. Maybe Hader has to pitch a couple of innings and he's unavailable tomorrow.
  19. We reached the knitting discussion phase of this blowout.
  20. We've reached the knitting discussion phase of this blowout.
  21. Can we at least get a garbage time HR or something. Would be nice to have just a little momentum for tomorrow.
  22. Remember when the Orioles decided not to move Fry at the deadline?
