For what it's worth and because I found basic number crunching a good way to procrastinate.... During the current "5 of last 6," O's averaged 3.67 versus giving up 1.83. Six (awful) games prior to that, O's averaged 2.33 while giving up 4.5. MW returned 6/5 (last 5 games)...O's averaged 3.8 and gave up 1.8. I am a CJ fan, but something intangible about MW's presence can't be denied. Granted, these numbers are including the White Hot Red Sox bats (wink wink)....just putting it out there. Let's go O's!
