  1. That's like what I saw from Sceroler - pin straight and not enough velo.
  2. I'm sure someone was thinking about that regarding the Pirates' starter tonight.
  3. If anyone wants LeBlanc visuals per Savant, i was looking at this earlier: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/wade-leblanc-453281?stats=statcast-r-pitching-mlb
  4. Shouldn't be surprising. They didn't invite him to camp just for the fun of it.
  5. I didn't see that fly ball hit the fence out of Hays' glove that he juggled and caught. And without that, LeBlanc had a very good 3-inning performance tonight.
  6. He's been all over the map: Dylan, Lamb Lies Down, Dust in the Window, Ventura Highway, Lou Rawls...
  7. Admittedly, I have been listening to Weasel with one ear.
  8. I gave you the <<thanks>> instead of the <<laugh>> just so you got a trophy for that zinger.
  9. Gotta do the silly banter and pay attention to the game. Easy to get wires crossed. He's been steady and cool.
  10. As wretched as this display has been, imagine either of these teams playing on a 60' diamond with 225' fences.
  11. What a comeback! These kids have spunk! /s
  12. Funky move. Make those lefties step off!
  13. Wade can flip a pretty good curve.
  14. Didn't look to be wind-aided.
  15. True, he had a stress fracture last year. Healed fully in three months. But the tendons have been healthy. He threw @ 120 IPs in 2019 and 160 in 2018. Sulser can't do that. If it comes down to those two, I'd choose LeBlanc. But I would keep TWells and Greene on the MLB roster over Wade.
  16. LeBlanc has been durable. I can see how the team might value the innings he eats over whatever Sulser would bring them. And there is no guarantee they would lose Sulser if they DFA him. Even if LeBlanc starts the year with the Orioles, it doesn't mean they have to keep him around all year. His biggest contribution might be taking some of the innings off the arms through the All-Star Break. That doesn't sound like such a bad thing.
  17. For years, certain teams have been running 6-man rotations when they see their seasons are over, sometimes as early as mid-August. For the Orioles, I don't even know what it means to say a 6-man rotation would be ineffective for a team looking at 100 losses. The most effective thing about using this approach would be if they could avoid hurting the arms.
