We got 6 pitchers in return for 1 and a 30 year old DH who has had a starter level WAR for only 2 seasons...and people are upset at this? I legitimately do not understand.
Liked it a lot for the return we got and never really understood the fascination with Mancini as a fan favorite other than being a homegrown guy who was the best player on a really bad team for a few years.
Then we should be in good shape for the next couple of seasons. Jorge Lopez's first great first half of relief pitching not being on this roster doesn't change that.
This is just a hilarious take to me considering Rougned Odor is still batting 5th in this lineup. This team was never poised to be .500 in August. It was a pleasant surprise but we need to temper our expectations for this season.
