Not often you see a strikeout pitch go into the stands.

Some people think we are getting wins.
Not as many wins as the Yankees.

Hyde or whoever makes the lineup each day.
Sticking with established veterans who can't even bat .200 is not helping us get wins.
I would play the hot bats. But that's just me.

Sure, but you were surely joking about Stowers' batting average, right?
I don't post on here to argue with people. I merely make suggestions to get us more wins.
Every win is important. In a 162 game season, one single win can make a big difference in a teams playoff position.

This is a joke right? Stowers has had 18 ABs. He went from a .564 OPS to .915 OPS in the game he hit two doubles. He's an 0-5 from falling like a rock.
We already know that Mullins and Hays are flailing away at the plate like they have blindfolds on.
The time has come to give Stowers 100 AB in a row, lets see if he can hit.
-
Why is Stowers in the lineup? Did Hays get hurt again, or is it because Stowers batting avg is 216 points higher?

Suarez 44 pitches already

Re: Cowser's throwing...
That is some of the sorriest throws I have seen, especially very important throws.
But...We already know Mullins has a candy arm. And so does MLB they run on him at every opportunity.
How is Stower's arm? I have no idea. Asking if someone watched him throw to the bases in the minors.

I think there should be a rule that you’re not allowed to use OPS for an argument until a player gets to at least 100 ABs in a season.
Agreed. But at this rate Stowers will not get 100 AB this year. Lets give him 100 at bats in a row against all pitchers and see if he can hit.
We already know what Hays, Mullins and Santander can do.

Here is our outfield...
Santander 204/287/419/706
Mullins 188/233/331/564
Hays 164/225/205/430
Cowser 235/328/444/772
Stowers 389/368/556/924
It's a mathematical equation. Who would y'all play?
-
All this talk about what should we do about the lousy hitting from our outfielders.
Hmmm.

But you know who can? 3 guys with 500 OPS.
Yep.
Stowers OPS is .924.
-
Stowers can't even get in the lineup with a .389 batting avg.
I don't get it.

I'm not even sure what hyperbole is, but Stowers is leading the team in batting average at .375
Lets see what he has now. Everyday, vs righties and lefties.
-
Come in and walk the first 3 batters you face.
Who would yank him?
Who would say keep him in there and watch this?
-
Right now Mateo is hitting better than ever in his Oriole career.
He is playing damn near Gold Glove 2B.
And he is one of the best baserunners in MLB.
-
After 3 consecutive hits today, I wonder if Stowers will stay in the lineup or go back to sitting on the bench?
-
I would have yanked Vieira after walking the first 3 batters. But that's just me.

I don't recall ever seeing a mlb pitcher with a nose earing before. But I don't get around much.
-
Irvin is out of gas.
-
The wall cost Mateo a HR.

Cole
Not Cole, his ERA is 3.15 Bradish's ERA is 1.75.
-
I agree that if Bradish keeps pitching like this, he should be an all star.
Guess who has a lower ERA and more innings pitched than Bradish?
-
Had a no hitter going
First pitch from bullpen that's over. And so is the shutout
Saturday 6/1 vs the Devil Rays with Bradish on the mound.
