  1. Slightly agree. But there is a bigger difference in "5 runs in 1.2 innings" vs "5 runs over 6 innings." Really takes away some of the steam from the team.
  2. I'll do you one better. I'm not making a request. Anymore personal insults or measuring contest posts WILL result in a ban. Act like grown ups in here. If you can't, log off for a bit.
  3. Just a few of my guesses for releases/electing free agency: TJ McFarland Jose Godoy Joseph Rosa Daz Cameron Wandisson Charles Tim Susnara Gilbert Lara
  4. According to Baseball Almanac: Players who are on the disabled list or any other non-active transaction by the end of the regular season will have their transactions passed on in the postseason.

  6. Again, as stated above, he would of had to be in the organization before September 1st. So Lopez is NOT eligible, at all. Anyone else can be used as an injury or "injury" replacement, meaning someone like Means, or another pitcher or position player.
  7. Correct. Unless he was claimed and on the 40 man roster by 11:59 PM on Thursday and they took 2 days to report it, that wouldn't apply. Waivers can happen at any time. There used to be a deadline, but that was removed in 2019. Now, the only deadline is for someone to be on the postseason roster (August 31st.) As of now, he belongs to the team and they have not made a 26 man roster move yet.
  8. Correct, he can NOT compete in the playoffs. Only players who were already in the organization prior to September 1st are eligible (such as any MiLB'ers, or Means.)
  9. The bullpen called and said the cop in the bullpen just went yard off Fuji.
  10. Pretty sure the umpire is from the "Eric Gregg School of Plate Work."
  11. Must be a great game being called by the catcher he is working with.
  12. Wishing his bat would be even half as good. But I think he is in the top 5 for transfer and pop time and has made some really good plays at the plate.
  13. In slow motion, it looks like Adley’s heel catches the ground and causes his foot to bounce up a bit, just prior to the plate, before hitting Wynns’s leg.
  14. https://x.com/rockies/status/1695868891782697169?s=46&t=SDcNQejH2tXpowiGf7p4Vw Dangerous play. Wynns should have taken his foot off the plate if he knew it was going to be a tag play. Seen a few catchers get hit with the slide in the leg and end up injuring something. Otherwise, good play by McMahon and Wynns. That’s a tough throw to make and a tough play with someone barreling at you. Looks like Rutschman had his front leg up on the slide which might have kept him from being safe.
  15. No clue what you all are talking about... *Puts on sunglasses and walks away*
  16. Unfortunately, as of a few years ago, I moved just a little too far for the trip. But I did see him when the Rockies stopped at my new state.
  17. I'd rather they just get the rest of the season off to rest their arm and just concentrate on spring training, instead of trying to "ramp up" for a month of work.
  18. This peeked my interest because on Tuesday, Ardoin was behind the dish when Altoona stole 4 bases on him and his throws didn’t look too good.
  19. Why is it so hard for people to realize that it isn’t a lock for him to be on the OD roster next season? He hasn’t played in AAA yet, which historically has been part of Elias’s plan. He also isn’t exactly at a “position of need.” He has a good to great bat, but does not have “next level” defense and isn’t displaying amazing power. There is still stuff for him to work on and develop.
