As an Oriole Fan, I like the trade, Betts is gone from the AL East. If I was a Red Sox, I would feel like we did, when we lost Manny.

Watching EPSN and college bball last night. ESPN had this stat. Betts 42 WAR through 6 seasons, ranks him 7th all-time in MLB.

Hyde didnt have a lot of options at his disposal. I was never sold on Givens being more than a decent arm in the pen.

While it might be cheaper than other events, I would not call $10,95 sodas cheap. There are ways to keep the cost down, you buy stuff outside in the parking lot, exact same stuff but cheaper. But, you can only haul so much stuff into the game for a 3+ hour experience.

He ruined a few pen arms along the way, it didnt brother him to warmup a guy two or three times in the same game.

You are one hard arse arent you? There are plenty of ball players with real drama and much more of a pain than Beckham is. Something about him rubs you the wrong way, so be it. Personally, he doesnt move the meter too much one way or another, at least for me. If you think Elias is the man to make the movement to make this team Great again, then give him room and time to go do. Beckham is just a stop gap and 25 man roster player if that.

Not sure about that, others have been using the shift for some time.
