They keep saying Odor is good for team moral, but why can’t they just leave him on the bench and start someone else. I hate seeing him get 5 ABs every game. I don’t get it.

I'm a huge Mullins guy, but that's a deal I'd have to take. I'm never going to say that we could easily replace Mullins, but I think OF is pretty deep in the minors and it could get pretty crowded by the time we're ready to compete. I've always been a fan of Lopez and Meyer is a very highly regarded prospect with a lot of upside. Both could be in the rotation next season. Some may blast me for this, but I would think Meyer would become our 3rd best prospect, right in front of Hall.

I'm really excited. I know we are linked to at least 2 high profile international players. Forgive me for not having their names.

I really like Tahnaj Thomas of the Pirates for the bullpen. He's only 22 and was their 13th ranked prospect. He didn't have the best year last season and for some reason wasn't protected. They say he can hit over 100 at times and averages 96 MPH. He is also a former second round pick. I feel like he would be a perfect Rule 5 pick to add to the bullpen and see what the coaches can do with him. I was thinking the same thing when I read that we didn’t want to trade him because he is the “inspirational leader” of the team. That’s what we need right now with this record and team. I really feel we will regret this a lot by next season.
