Curious if the strikeouts were due to higher velocity- what were the pitch speeds?

Almost as bad as Tavera and the rest of Delmarva hitters so far.

I know it’s too early to panic. You got Tavera/Arias/others hitting around the Mendoza. I hope they turn around- I was hoping a few fast starts like Basallo last year.

Scary to think what our record would be if wasn’t here. I still believe we need another trade for a pitcher.

How did Basallo look?

I was being optimistic. I wish we signed Bauer or Montgomery or simple traded for pitching.

Seems overmatched, hard to see an impact hitter in any at-bats. Wished they drafted Bryce Eldridge instead.

I was curious how Luis Alymeda and Braylin Tavera are looking physically? They seemed super thin last year- hoping a year of professional weight training has added some muscle and less baby fat.

I didn’t see the game, but I heard Bradfield pinch ran for Mullins. Anything noteworthy- if he played a defense or batted afterwards.

Definitely, excited to find out what type of player he becomes- I hope it’s more Mullins than Bourn.

It may not be a popular opinion, I would not give Adley that 7 or 10 year extension. When you look at Mauer, Posey and even Weiters on how short live being catcher is - low ROI. Plus, Adley was somewhat an older rookie.

We still have Mateo and the guy who won the GG. Where do you slot him -you thinking if someone got injured?

Surprised they didn’t swap out Norby for the 34th pick. There is no place to play him and repeating AAA for 3 years in a row- will really sour him. Unless, he’s another chess piece for bullpen help.
