  1. I’ll take the average- average guy. As for the O’s, I think it’s obvious that if a player can’t play above average defense, he’s not gonna be on the MLB club for long.
  2. Yeah, I'd trade HK for quality pitching with a few years of control.
  3. Brewers just took advantage of the rookie at 2B….
  4. To start off the season, I think continuity on defense is important. That play Thursday when Santander made a diving catch in front of Cedric, who typically has the right of way as the CF is an example of outfielders knowing each other really really well. Looking forward to Cowser, I’m sure he’ll get plenty of time.
  5. I don’t think he chases free agents, but I do think he spends on guys like Adley, Gunner, Grayson, etc because of what guys like Frank and Brooks meant to him as a fan. Thats part of giving back to the city, and I believe his love of the game and Bmore is genuine
  6. Love the lineup…. Nothing is gonna get thru the infield
  7. I've been listening to his podcast, he really respects the expertise of others, doesn't sound ego driven at all. I think he'll be an amazing owner.
  8. Has anyone else taken time to listen to Rubenstein's podcast? He's going to be a GREAT owner! Totally the type of guy you want to work for.
  9. Rest in peace. Love to his wife and family
  10. I don’t think Westburg or Santander or Kiersted are going to be playing any 1B, because Basallo is the future over there. Heck, Adley too maybe.
  11. 3rd base every day in Norfolk. When his D is as good as Westberg and Urias, he’ll get the call and be the 3rd baseman for the next ten years I hope.
  12. Hoping it’s Dillon Tate with a big year, that would help make up for losing DL. And I’m pumped for Holliday but don’t expect him to be a difference maker this season, he’s so young, gonna be a while to adjust to the truly nasty pitchers
  13. This quote from Elias is why I voted no. It sounds like a hedge. "I think we have it in a really good spot right now, and our plans are to get him pitching in 2024"
  14. He’s gonna jack 40 this year. Give him a raise and enjoy the Taters
