Bill Bergen's pretty famous for being the worst hitter of all time. Of all the unbreakable records, his 1909 season where he had a .319 OPS in 372 PAs is pretty close to untouchable. He hit .139 with one double, one triple, one homer and 10 walks in 111 games. That was a low-scoring, no-power era, but among players who appeared in 100 or more games he was 180 OPS points behind the 2nd-worst hitter of '09.

Bergen's brother Marty was also a major league player, but is infamous for killing his immediate family and himself after a long battle with what we'd now probably call paranoid schizophrenia.
