I don't have insider so if someone would like to summarize that would be great. It looks like the Yankees have their eye on him. It wouldn't be surprising as they have a weak staff and they want to compete with Boston.

I'm sure the Yankees are interested, but I seriously doubt that the Twins trade him at this point in the season. They are obviously a contender and Liriano is a key to their success. Its' apparent the yankees want/need a serious upgrade in their rotation. I was watching their first exhibition game on MLB network this weekend and Bartolo Colon admitted to Michael Kay that He was twenty pounds overweight. So much for reporting to camp in shape and ready to compete for a spot on the roster. :beerchug1:

Heh I've gotta ask but what is Colon 20 pounds overweight. That's different than it is for normal people. God, I'd love to overtake them in the division this year. It's been so long since we've had a better team than them.

I agree. I think they said He's 5' 11" and 262 pounds. So his "normal" playing weight would be 242 pounds. That is definitely different from most people. I think the Orioles have more than a fighting chance of overtaking the Yankees in the standings this year. Particularly if they have a retread like Colon or Freddie garcia in their starting rotation.
