After a Florida Highway Patrol officer arrived on the scene, Cabrera was reportedly ordered into the back of the vehicle and onto his knees. After complying, Cabrera stood up, according to the officer's report, identified himself and walked into the middle of the highway with his hands in the air.

"Shoot me. Kill me," he reportedly shouted.

Not that wish this upon Miguel at all, but I thought this thread was going to be about Daniel. As a friend, I am relieved to see this isn't Daniel, who is also residing in Florida at the moment.

This all said, Miguel Cabrera could be one of the greatest hitters in the history of the game. It is tragic that he is traveling down this road. Quite honestly, the man needs a full-time babysitter for his own good. Also, he should never ever be behind a wheel again, for everyone's good. It is patently absurd that he is still driving with his history. He can afford someone to drive him around in a stretch limo. If he is allowed back on the road, he is going to kill someone. Is he this generation's Mickey Mantle?
