Your Guess Is As Good As Mine. Probably better, but here goes.

AL -- Red Sox, Twins, Rangers

Wild Card -- Yankees

AL Champ -- Red Sox

NL -- Braves, Brewers, Giants

Wild Card -- Phillies

NL Champ -- Braves

World Series -- Braves in 5

Mgrs of Year -- Buck Showalter, Fredi Gonzalez

Rookies -- Zach Britton, Freddie Freeman

MVPs -- Adrian Gonzalez, Prince Fielder

Cy Youngs -- Felix Hernandez, Cole Hamels

Comebacks -- Dustin Pedroia, Chipper Jones

1st Fired -- Mike Scioscia, Mike Quade

I know the Red Sox are the closest thing to a lock (according to the pundits) we've seen in a long time, but they still have to show me that A-Gonzalez and Carl Crawford are significantly better than A-Beltre and Victor Martinez -- apart from steals, the numbers are almost identical. Getting Pedroia and Ellsbury back will help a lot, but will Youkilis be as good playing 3rd, will Drew-Saltalamacchia-Beckett stay healthy, will Papelbon bounce back...plenty of questions for a "sure thing."

The Phillies have the pitching, but that lineup needs work, and they might have to trade a starter to get that help. The Braves young hitters and pitchers should be enough to just nose out Philadelphia, then use home field to beat them in the NLCS. Atlanta will have to win the World Series in 5, otherwise they'd have to go back to Boston for Games 6 & 7.

The individual awards are just picked out of a hat, but about the managerial firings...

12 teams have new managers from Opening Day last year, and 16 managers are starting their 1st or 2nd full season with their current club, including 11 of 16 in the NL. So a large majority of managers are on pretty strong footing. The ones who would be vulnerable are likely to be in places where the GM is under fire and needs someone to throw under the bus, or a recent hire who could melt down or "lose the clubhouse." Scioscia is in the first group, with all of the iffy deals Tony Reagins has made, and Quade, based on the turmoil in Cubs camp and Quade's own f-bombs to the press (that much frustration in March?) is an early candidate.
