As much fun as it was watching the MFY's blow a 4-0 lead,I enjoyed watching the Red Sux lose even more.

I'll enjoy every game they lose this season even more than the MFY.

Because all I've heard since they got A-Gon and Crawford has been Red Sox fans reminding me how inferior the O's were and how they were going to win the Trophy without breaking a sweat. That it should be just given to them now.

Well now they're tied in last place in the league and with any hope, the Rays will get it back together (other than games against of course) and help put the Red Sux and MFY's where they belong...in the basement.

Yep... Boston will still finish well over .500 and will be a WC team at the minimum. They are still clearly the class of the AL East.

Now, if they're still struggling come May 6 (vs April 6), then maybe we can start to cue the overrated talk. But they could very easily be .500 by the middle of next week.

True, and despite how they looked last night blowing a 4-0 lead, you can never count out the Yankees. I can certainly see where they will be making a trade or two before the deadline ends.

I guess I should I remember 05 (or was it 06) before I get ahead of myself. We were kicking butt and then fell apart. I don't think that will happen here.

I normally don't root for Yankee sweeps but I will for this weekend..or a two out of three. I have posted on the Yankees forum every now and then and have always been treated with respect for the most part. Many of the posters there actually miss the old days when it was a three way race.

The SOSH site and the Talk Sox sites on the other hand..truly the worst groups ever on a forum. If you ever wonder why I've have a stronger dislike for Red Sox fans than Yankee fans (especially this year),spend two minutes at their forums. Quite an experience.

I'm rooting for the Yankees to take 2 of 3 from the Sox (with the Sox taking game one). That way, if the Sox go into that series 0-6... they get a win before two more losses put them at 1-8 (still horri-awful). And then the Yankees get knocked down one loss as well.
