Fox has the ability to tie the game with one swing. Andino isnt exactly Mr. Pop.

With any other positions it would be, but if the DH moves to the field, no matter what the situation, the pitcher has to bat. This most frequently comes up when a catcher DH's and has to go play C because of injury to the starter. A few years ago Perlozzo (stupidly IMO) insisted on carrying three catchers for this exact reason.

I think that is the plan eventually. Bring up Tatum AND keep Fox up.
