After 6 innings, Dan Haren exits the game, replaced by Francisco Rodriguez. He gave up 2 earned runs, 4 overall (the Angels made 2 errors).

In the Red Sox bullpen, Matt Albers is warming up while the Red Sox are batting in the top half of the inning, so it appears that Jon Lester´s night is over also, having pitched 6 shutout innings.

The Red Sox held off a late-innings rally by the Angels for the 4-3 win. The win improved the Red Sox´ record to 8-11 overall.

The losses the Angels have suffered the past two nights can be attributed in part due to stupid blunders they've made. Dropping fly balls, trying to turn doubles into triples and fielding errors... they beat themselves more than the Red Sox did.
