Adam Jones comes in a number 10 in top defensive center fielders

So is there really a good way to determine the best defensive players during the season? I'm not sure, but I like it when people try new things. It is kind of cool to see different ideas and thoughts when it comes to the great game of baseball. That's why all of these stats are created, so people can look at them and try and find something new. I think that Gomez and Span at the top makes sense defensively, but Jones just might be the best all around CF, or at least top 3.

Eh, anything based on defensive metrics this early in the season is going to have some serious flaws. Rick Ankiel at #3? No thanks.
