Former Oriole COREY PATTERSON Has a Monster Day

In a wild game that went 14 innings, ex-Oriole Corey Patterson hit the game-winning walkoff home run in the bottom of the 14th inning to catapult the Blue Jays to a 9-8 victory over the White Sox this afternoon. The walkoff homer was Patterson's 5th hit of the day in 7 at-bats. Patterson also scored 4 runs on the day to go along with the home run plus 4 singles.

The game was on WGN. I was hoping they'd keep playing until the Orioles first pitch tonight! Kill the Jays bullpen. Great moment for Patterson, too bad the Jays won.

Yep... another guy who makes it big AFTER being an Oriole. This was not a guy I wanted to see go last year as I thought he could be a good piece for us and now he has an .811 OPS with a division rival. Sigh.
