How is Rich Hill still even on a MLB roster? He had one of the best curveballs I've seen when he was on, but man, that guy couldn't find the plate to save his life when he was with us. Do teams value past success that much, even when it was years ago since Rich Hill was an effective pitcher?

I've seen enough of Rich Hill to bet the house against him. He's had major injuries in the past, and lived off of a curve that he couldn't locate. If he ever pitches half a season as a starter again with an ERA under 4.50 I'll apologize. His stats this year mean nothing to me, as they should mean next to nothing to you too. He's Duchscherer all over again, but with less results. Would you take a risk on him again?
