I wonder if it will ever be possible to read a Hobgood thread without having to read "he is a flop" comments.

You know, I think the thing that disappoints me the most about Hobgood is his conditioning. Perhaps the lost velo wasn't necessarily his fault. But showing up out-of-shape, last year, was.

I'm hoping Matt gets a little more serious about his career. Get in top physical shape, give it your best shot and then let the pieces fall where they may. If he does that, even if he doesn't make it out of A-ball, I don't think anyone can fault him.
