I like that Davis gets another start. You know he is sleeping on that error until he gets another chance to redeem himself.

That's a very good point. When a new player makes a catastrophic error like Davis did in his first game, our first reaction is to want him to be sent back down to AAA, or at the very least, put him back on the bench and keep him there unless there is an emergency need for him. Let's hope that you're correct, and that Davis can have (at least) a decent game on defense today, and perhaps make some noise on offense as well. It's a good thing that most managers and GM's are more objective than us fans. :)

Yeah good decision by Buck. But if he makes another error, take him out back.

I like the Davis start, as well. It's encouraging. I've been pretty disappointed in Buck lately, mostly because of wins and losses, but that's a move I'm not sure other managers in recent years would make. Hopefully he goes out there and clobbers a couple of doubles, too.
