Ok, so its not MLB, but if you just even kinda sorta like baseball you need to turn this on. Ties 1-1 in the top of the 11th. The Gamecocks got out of a no outs bases loaded jam in the bottom of the 9th and threw a Gator out at home for the third out in the 11th. It's on ESPN.

Matt Price is their closer. He along with UVAs closer went zero for zero through 6 innings on Friday. He threw 95 pitches which was ridiculous for a reliever.

I missed the name and have the sound off, but I saw he pitched five innings his last appearance. I assumed it had to be a starter. College coaches are criminal.

Dang, I live in the Gainesville area and am a big Gator fan myself. Disappointing game. Though very thrilling, I'm a fan of good and exciting baseball.

My ex is an FSU grad twice over. I'll just say this: Gator people think they are better than you. The school, sports program, campus, town, stadiums, ladies (which is the most erroneous of all), bars...everything. Its better than yours. Doesn't matter what college you support/attended. There's pride in your school, and there's what they do.

And their song is the most annoying thing ever. Their cheers are something a stupid valley girl would come up with. They use the Jaws theme (ITS A SHARK!!!). Gator bait would be BAD for a gator, not something used to deride an opponent.

Obviously over generalizing is a bad idea, but in this instance I'm comfortable with it. Ask Crimson Tribe...I guarantee he reps me for this post.

USC and Florida were my two least favorite teams at the CWS, so I'm kind of bummed by this series. I was rooting for UNC and Vanderbilt, but both teams met unfortunate ends. Would have also been cool to see UVA or Cal in the finals, since I believe both teams feature former MoCo baseball players who I played against in high school.
