Baseball is like that. You can find thousands of strange comparisions like that, especially if you look for things that great players didn't do particularly well, or if you compare across eras.

Ken Singleton and Brady Anderson hit more homers as an Oriole than Frank Robinson.

Nick Markakis has played more games for the O's than Frank, Doug DeCinces, Bobby Grich, Lee May, or Gary Roenicke.

Brooks, whose career high in steals was three, had more triples than Brady.

Brian Roberts passed Paul Blair, Luis Aparico, and Mark Belanger in career steals with the O's, in withing a few games during mid-2007.

Melvin Mora and Brady each had seven different seasons where they were hit by as many or more pitches as Ken Singleton was in his entire career (10).

Al Bumbry once hit as many triples in a single game as Rich Dauer did in his entire 1140-game career (3).

Rodrigo Lopez had more strikeouts as an Oriole than Tippy or Arthur Rhodes or BJ Ryan or Jeremy Guthrie or Hoyt Wilhelm.

Sidney Ponson and Dennis Martinez had identical 93 ERA+'s with the O's.

Ponson is in the top 10 in Orioles' career innings.

Bruce Chen pitched more innings in Baltimore than Tim Stoddard.
