Notes:

  • Weiland making his major league debut.
  • I happened to start the last game thread where we won so call me supersitious for trying today, but I am desperate for anything to work...
  • So far in July we are hitting .121 with runners in scoring position.
  • At 14-29 we have the 2nd worst road record in MLB.
  • We are 5-22 in the last 27 games at Fenway.

Well, at least the first inning blunders were erased by DLee's power ball. Hitting it over the green monster takes extra special strength.

And a ground rule double for Reynolds -- very nice. :)

Same old story with our pitching, but maybe we can shake up the rookie making his debut today. I'm sure he's shaking in his boots after giving up a 2R HR and a ground rule double with only 1 out.

Nice slide, Reynolds! Way to hustle! :)

And I'm completely pickled that Robert "GIDP" Andino got a base hit in a clutch situation. WOW. This will be the Orioles' game until they pull their rookie starter. Hopefully they'll give him 5 - 6 innings (bleeding runs all the way) so he doesn't feel terrible about his first start.
