It's a lot easier to attack the zone sitting 92-93 than 88-89!

And just gets Swisher looking with a curve on the outside corner. Perhaps a generous call but a great pitch regardless.

Caught him looking at a 78 mph curve ball that just tapped the strike zone up and away. Wow.

Looking at the instant replay, however, that one really appeared to be on the ump, rather than the regulation strike zone.

Tillman has 24 pitches through 2 innings. Has he even been in the neighborhood of 24 through 2 innings this year? It's felt like that's about what an inning usually takes him.

I really, really, hope this continues. It's awesome.

We need to give this kid some runs so he can breathe.

Or maybe we should just keep it 0-0 and see how long he can continue to do the same thing over and over again. Because if we score runs it might make him change his delivery or psych him out or something. He might think, "Oh, wow, I've got a big lead... I don't need to be perfect anymore" and accidentally cough up 5 runs.

I'd say let him get through 4 or 5 scoreless innings and then really bear down offensively just as Tillman is starting to tire.

Then again, if Tillman keeps having these pitch counts each inning, he'll be in for the 7th and 8th.
