Indians send 4 players to Colorado for Jiminez. Cleveland appears to be serious about making a run for the playoffs and maybe more. They trail Detroit by 1.5 games and appear ready to pass the Tigers who are in first. They could still use another bat.

The rumor going around Twitter was that the Yankees and Red Sox asked to see Jimenez's medical records, were denied, and ran away after that. Things that make you go hmmm...

I find it hard to believe that Cleveland would trade two top prospects plus two others for a guy that other teams were avoiding due to injury issues.

True. However, ever since the Vernon Wells trade, I have been ready to believe absolutely anything a team does, no matter how inexplicable it may seem.

Could the orioles pry Pomeranz or preferably Alex White from the Rockies in a Guthrie deal?

Doubtful. Why would Colorado trade for a year of Guthrie after moving Jiminez? I think it's clear they are selling at this point.
