Orioles first baseman Chris Davis is headed to the disabled list to make room for tonight's starter, Brian Matusz, on the active roster.

Orioles president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail said Davis has a small tear in his right shoulder. He'll see renowned orthopedist Dr. Lewis Yocum on Thursday and likely won't play for the rest of the season
