Depends on your section! You didn't hear about this? I thought that the Athletic Department was doing a pretty good job of advertising, but I guess not...

That's the dumbest ******* thing I ever heard. Well, other than Edsall at the uniform fashion show.

EDIT: *Broadcast partner Marty puts his hand over my keyboard*

"You can't say "*******" on a message board!"

"Why not? Nobody's reading this anyway."

Well I'll be wearing a black Hold Steady shirt since I don't own any black Maryland gear and my season seats are in the black section.

I remember the good old days when you didn't need color schemes at football games. You just showed up, watched a win, and then took a road trip to Miami for the Orange Bowl.*

*I'm old.

I agree this is pretty stupid. Do they really think they're going to get all the sections to wear their correct color? This is going to look like a jumbled mess! They should just select one color for the crowd to wear.

If they pull it off it will look amazing. I will also be incredibly surprised if they can make it happen. Texas A&M did something similar for the first game after 9-11, where they did Red, White, and Blue, but they also had a group of students take the lead in getting red, white, and blue t-shirts made for the occasion and passed them out to everyone. Just relying on everyone to show up and have the right color for their section is a lot more dicey for coming off with the intended effect.
