I think that statement only applies to the Orioles as a team. So if our pitcher walks somebody leadoff, that usually means a run will score (or more). If the opposing pitcher walks one of our guys leadoff, it's almost always a DP setup.

Getting a fantastic young pitcher in trades is very difficult, if not impossible. You think the Giants would ever give up Tim Lincecum? You think LAA would ever give up Jared Weaver?

Short answer: no. Long answer: no. Not even if you offered them Robinson Cano, Prince Fielder, Koji Uehara and A. Gonzalez.
