My guess is that Klentak is the next GM. Unfortunately I have no idea if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I do know that a fairly recent article posted on here had him listed as one of the up and coming young GM candidates.

I agree..Said this to Stoner the other day.

I felt that Hart or Klentak were next in line.

Klentak is the easy choice and if he has a good relationship with PA, then I think the job is his to lose.

Like you said, who knows if this is a good or bad thing.

What part of about "Angelos and MacPhail being fed up with each other" leads you to believe this?

IMO PGA didn't want to fire another GM and MacPhail's contract was up so he is just going to let him play out the string.

BTW, I'm not saying I agree with bringing Hart here. But, we all know how Angelos is, as referenced by his "Who?" comment, regarding Byrnes and Levine. He will want a name, I'm afraid.
