I've brought this up before numerous times.

My assertion is that Nolan Reimold is the only player that sprints full-speed to 1st base on every ground ball without fail.

The only other Major League player (that I have ever seen in my lifetime) that I can say that about is Pete Rose.

So in that category for me, there is Nolan Reimold and Pete Rose.

I used to see it when I watched a whole bunch of Rookie-League Bluefield Orioles games back in 2007, 2008, and 2009, but that wasn't the Major Leagues.

I just watched Reimold jog to 1B after hitting a ground ball to the pitcher. Nobody runs out every ball. No question Reimold is a hustler on grounders, though.

I'll watch it again on the YES encore later tonight.

I won't believe it until I see it, and I'll be shocked if he did.

I'll take your word for it, Frank.

I believe you (but I'll still watch it again.)

I am truly heartbroken, though ........ and I'm only half-kidding.

In fairness, the ball was in the pitcher's glove before Nolan could leave the batters box. No amount of hustle would have forced a hurried throw.

Yes.

I'll bet that even Pete Rose had a couple of occasions in his career in which hit hit the ball back to the pitcher on one bounce, and he didn't sprint the full 90 feet (since the ball was probably in the 1st baseman's glove before he even got halfway there), as it was tonight for Reimold.

Did Pete ever say he ran every ball out?

Because I'm pretty sure he is physically incapable of speaking the truth.
