Tigers Clinch First Division Title since 1987

The Detroit Tigers clinched their first division title since they were still playing in the A.L. East in 1987 with a 3-1 victory over the Athletics. Just one month ago, the Tigers were locked in a tight race for the division with the Indians and the White Sox, maintaining a slim lead of 2 games and 3 1/2 games over those 2 teams, respectively. Since then, the Tigers have won 23 out of their last 28 games to leave their division rivals in the dust.

I would root for the Tigers (and I will, depending) as I've always liked them. But I'm rooting for Texas and Koji and Gonzo. SF second (the "other" orange and black.)

Nothing against the Hernandezes but I just never liked AZ.
