Alleged logo for the Miami Marlins

I thought it was fake when I first saw it, but now the rumored new logo is getting some coverage. Who knows, might be accurate.

I've seen two versions:

The second one ugly. I like the first one because it has a kind of 1980s feel.

The first one isn't so bad. The colors are a little unusual but I like the design. I think the current Marlins logo/uniform/color scheme is awful so just about anything would be an improvement.

I agree 100%.

I was unsure about it when I initially saw it, but I'm growing to like it. The black background isn't doing it any favors. It will look much better on grey/white or against their pinstripes.
