I voted yes, but who cares. I leaned over to the row of Sux's fans next to me , one who was wearing a Camden Yards -Fenway Park South tee shirt and asked him "how's that shirt working for you now?". That was bad form also:)

That's true, it technically was bad form. It was delightfully wonderful delicious bad form.

No. A million gazillion times no. Just think how you would have felt about seeing the Sox celebrate if they had secured a playoff spot, on our field, in our visitor's locker room. Think about how Red Sox fans would have celebrated at the Harbor late, obnoxiously chanting "Let's go Red Sox" into the night.

No, it was appropriate. It's sad that this is the O's top moment of the last 14 years, but it is what it is.

Great point. Imagine how obnoxious there fans would have been last night had NY held onto their lead and Boston had won.

Palmer brought it up last night...Something about a fist pump directed right at the O's dugout.

Of course, Albers may have still been here if HE DIDN'T SUCK WHILE HE WAS AN ORIOLE!

Yeah, Albers thought he was hot s--t in the first half. Then the real Albers showed up and he posted a 7.36 ERA in the second half.

The ESPN announcers made several comments about our celebration such as "they're acting like they just made the playoffs" but they also made their bias obvious in other ways. They seem to care more about their personal desires than they do about maintaining separation and, thus, credibility.

I thought it was appropriate given our rivalry. We played the game as if it was a playoff game and we had every right to celebrate such a dramatic and hard fought victory.

Listening to ESPN radio today and Cowherd (who I know is a fan favorite here on the OH :laughlol:) commended the O's and how they played. He said the celebration was awesome. He is destroying the Red Sox and their fans.

Exactly. Great point.

Anybody who doesn't understand the celebrations has never competed in a competitive sport at all. It's in the moment joy. You work your ass off to beat the team across from you. It doesn't matter if it's the first game of the year with nothing on the line or the 162 with everything on the line it's the sheer joy of competing and beating that team across from you. I've been lucky enough to be involved in a walk off win in my life. I was 16 years old playing on my HS baseball team and we were playing for the conference title. We were down 1 with 2 runners on and one of our players hit a walk off homer to win the game. I still remember the sheer joy of that moment and it still brings a huge smile to my face. I've reminisceed 15 years later with teammates and we remember everything in great detail.

I remember the game it happened, and evidently he didn't just do the fist pump, he was also yelling profanities at the O's dugout. Easy to do when he doesn't have to bat against us.

To have their fans travel to our park and claim it Fenway South, then act like a bunch of a**holes, they should be treated in kind. Karma is a wonderful thing. Frankly, the fans should've burned Papelbon jerseys in the infield and did their best Jimi Hendrix impersonations. And it still wouldn't be enough.

As far as that nameless female ex MASN chic: she should be tarred and feathered, strapped to that pirate ship that runs the inner harbor and forced to sing Sweet Caroline while wearing an O's cap. Then we'll decide whether or not she should be stoned in public...

Yup Palmer brought up Albers pointing and talking crap, he brought up Beckett questioning our franchise after the brawl. Pedroia ran his mouth last year. It's really hard not to believe in some level karma when you see nights like last night.
