I've been suffering here typing up lesson plans without anything but FB to distract me.

The data drive failed and had to be replaced. The crash occurred after the site's primary backup finished. Unfortunately, the crash occurred while the forum backup was running. I did what a could to restore yesterdays posts, but was ultimately unsuccessful.

Because the server is housed at another physical location, we were at the mercy of the hosting company when it came to replacing the drive.

Agreed. A very smart pickup to get a cheap, quality BP arm (if healthy). Whoever's running the show right now at least is competent, whether that be Buck or Klentak.
