I remember the 3 Alou brothers when I was a little kid in the early 70's.

He had a four-year stretch from 1966-69 where he hit .342, .338, .332 and 331. And that was during a period when the league averages were .256, .249, .243 and .250. In relative terms, that would be like hitting almost .350 over the last four years.

He was my Grandfather on my mother's sides favorite player. I feel old.
