You are taking these rumors too seriously, IMO. At least half the time, it's the agents blowing some minor contact out of proportion in order to make it appear that there is a market for their player.

I hope you're right. I have a distrust for this organization, however I'm pretty good at giving each new regime the benefit of the doubt when they come onboard.
