I used to kind of hate Jim Hunter until that lengthy pause on Opening Day while introducing Tex to allow the boos to rain down. Now I'm like.. "You're alright, Jim Hunter. You're alright."

Ya know, I can't help but root for Jim Hunter. Having met him he is simply one of the most pleasant, nicest men I have met. He's also funny to watch a game with for a couple innings when he is not on-air.
