Luke's Oriole numbers: .262/.342/.485, 84 HR, 236 RBI in 1,795 PA. He always seemed like a good teammate. Best of luck to Luke when he's not playing the Orioles.

Only the fact that it's the Rays picking him up really makes me sad. It makes me think he must be a shoe in to return to form. When in reality I've been assuming, and still really feel, that he's probably done. I didn't see him coming all the way back from this injury and certainly not with the O's.

Bummer. I always liked Luke, nutty politics and all. Good for him though, if he is healthy he will be a big bat for TB, and he will be close to home. May the force be with him....... except when he plays the O's.

Always liked him on the field, hated what he said off the field. But what does that matter? He is going to crush the ball if he can stay healthy in Tampa. That is an upgrade at DH for them, and if its at 6-7 Million that is a bargain. Well done, Tampa.
