This is a solid deal if we can pull it off. I think Brandon Wood looks like a guy who will give you 30+ HR's when he hits his prime, with a decent enough average. Not as good an all-around hitter as Tejada, but a guy who is an asset and not a liability at the plate. And, he's young and cheap.

I've only seen Saunders once or twice, but he does seem like a guy who could be solid in the back of the rotation.

It's a fair trade that helps both teams, and I hope it happens.
